Random Enchants
Every time you loot an item from a mob, it has a chance to receive a Random Enchant. These enchants can grant a wide variety of stats, effects, and values—some amazing, some unusual, and some that may leave you questioning your hidden −69 Luck debuff!
So remember: always consider rolling Greed! That ordinary-looking item could be hiding something incredible.
What Can an Enchant Do?
Random Enchants may provide:
-
A single bonus stat
-
Multiple bonus stats
-
Passive effects
-
Powerful triggered effects and procs
Almost any equippable item can receive an enchant—even trinkets and tabards!
Influence Your Enchants
You can select your preferred role through your character portrait. Your chosen role influences which enchants are more likely to appear, but it does not guarantee a perfect result.
They are called Random Enchants, after all!
Don’t Like Your Enchant?
Rare enemies and treasure chests have a chance to drop Enchant Scrolls. Use one on an equippable item to replace its current enchant with a new random one.
Keep the item you love—and take another chance at the enchant you want!
